Lycium barbarum L. contains 20-25% of seeds while the lycium seeds obtain 13-18% of oil. The extraction rate of lycium seed oil through super-critical fluid (CO2) extraction is about 15%, highly pure and without additive and pigment. Lycium seed oil contains as much as 68.3% of linoleic acid and 2600 mg/kg of β-carotene, the highest among the existing vegetable oil. It can also be used for medical purpose.
Our co***ny has established a lycium juice production line with an annual capacity of 2,000 tons, and raw material of which is fresh fruit of lycium ( also named wolfberry). When producing the juice, Goji seed is separated from the lycium berry at about 2.6%-3%, and 28 tons of seeds can be received each year. Over the past four years, our co***ny has exported over 1,500 kilograms of lycium seed oil to America, Japan, Taiwan and other areas. Our products have passed the analysis test of the state quality supervision department and the designated department of the importing countries. All indicators have met the standard relevant to vegetable grease before the product is allowed into relevant markets.
